Dear Mr. Bond!
Wish you the happiest 89th Birthday! I have no idea whether it will ever reach you and you will read it or not but I just want to tell you that thank you for existing, thank you for being who you are, thank you for providing much-needed comfort with your writing, thank you for making us close to nature and ourselves. You don’t know what impact you have on me! Thank you for being an author whom I can go to any day, any minute, any moment when I want comfort, calmness, hope, and a reason to look ahead! Thank you for creating magic with your words, or I should say, showing what magic this life can be. I remember I started reading your work with “Petals on the Ganga” on Kindle, and afterward, I knew I wanted to read more of you, more by you! And I am just making a small snail-like progress with it, but I’m glad I’m making it. Of all the seven books that I read by you, “Read Well Write Well” (the one in the picture) was the one that impacted me a lot and touched me personally the most. And I am waiting to let another book suppress this one as well. And in that hope, let’s start a new book by you! With the hope and manifestation to meet you and see you in front of my eyes and hold your hands to witness from where all these words keep coming on paper, sending lots of love, happiness, and well-being.
Yours
Jainand (A reader who adores you and is ready to meet you in one of your stories tonight)

Do let me know in the comments if you have read any books by Ruskin Bond! If yes, any favourites?
I too am a great Ruskin Bond fan. I have read quite a few of his books, the last being Ruskin Bond’s book of Rhyme and Verse. His books are my comfort reads.
